The automobile collision was extremely violent and both cars sustained total damage. Mr. Beth is a native of Rogersville Missouri. Harig was a resident of Springfield Missouri.
The decedent's survivors of this tragic car crash may likely have a claim for wrongful death against several persons of interest. Those persons of interest may include the driver of the other vehicle and any persons who may have 'entrusted' the other vehicle to its current driver. Missouri law does recognize claims for negligent entrustment, which typically involve a situtation where one person, with knowledge of another person's dangerous tendencies behind the wheel, entrusts the vehicle to that person.
