A Peterbilt truck can weight well over 60,000 pounds.  When a car collides with a large Peterbilt truck the resulting personal injury and property damage can be substantial.  Authorities report that Harold Glacken of St. Louis Missouri failed to yield his 2008 Peterbilt truck to oncoming traffic on westbound highway 30 in Jefferson County Missouri.  Glacken's failure to obey Missouri law caused a serious truck crash on December 27, 2008.  53 year-old Doris Davis, 15 year-old Felicia Dobbs and 13 year-old Trisha Huckabee were all riding in a Nissan Maxima that was forced to crash into Glacken's truck.  Davis, Dobbs, and Huckabee were all transported to St. Anthoneys Medical Center for treatment for their serious personal injuries.
