Passing on a two-lane highway is extremely risky. This particular crash happened after 6 p.m., so visibility was dark and roads may have been a little icy due to recent cold weather throughout Missouri. Authorities haven't commented on whether Sharon Foster will be issued a summons for causing this collision. However, many fatal car accidents are caused by driver misjudgment in speed and distance when passing on two-lane highways.
