The weather in Missouri over the past few days has been causing automobile collisions all over the state.  Tractor-trailer accidents across the state have caused injuries in numerous stretches of Missouri highways, according to a recent influx in Missouri State Highway Patrol crash reporting.  Just past Friday, a horse trailer near Kansas City Missouri drove over black ice on a stretch of Highway 435 resulting in several horses being destroyed.


Authorities are pleading with Missouri car drivers and tractor-trailer operators to slow down and use extra care in navigating highways in this type of weather.  Just as in the recent crash near Kansas City, motorists can unexpectedly hit a patch of 'black ice' causing their car or truck to lose control.  The resulting loss of control may cause the driver and others serious personal injuries.  So think twice before you rush to your next destination in this type of dangerous weather.
