Authorities report that Frederick Ward of Columbia Missouri died late Monday evening in a two-vehicle collision on Route B at the intersection of Waco Road.  Apparently Mr. Ward was approaching Route B when another vehicle being driven by a James Prior was also approaching the Route B intersection, but from the opposite direction.  Prior was not able to avoid a collision with Ward and the two vehicles collided with each other.  Emergency responders had to use the jaws of life to remove both Prior and Ward from their vehicles.
