29 year-old Melissa Prescott sustained serious personal injuries in a car crash near Latrhop Missouri on Friday evening. Authorities report that 45 year-old Gailon Green of Plattsburg Missouri crossed the centerline of traffic and struck Prescott's Chevy head-on. The resulting impact of the vehicles was extremely violent and both cars reportedly were totalled. Prescott was rushed to North Kansas City Hospital by Life-Net for treatment of her serious personal injuries. Authorities are still investigating the circumstances of the crash to determine whether citations should be issued.
