Two people were seriously injured in a two-vehicle car accident near St. Joseph Missouri early this morning.  A Chevy SUV being driven by 23 year-old Elise Haenni was broadsided by a large Dodge van on Business 71.  Elisa Haenni of Savannah and Kelly Humphrey of King City Missouri were both seriously injured in the car accident and were taken to Heartland Regional Medical Center in St. Joseph by ambulance.  Authorities are unsure when the van was caused to broadside the Chevy SUV and are still investigating the incident and interviewing witnesses.
