The Missouri Highway Patrol and Columbia Police Department responded to a serious Columbia car accident later yesterday afternoon.  Apparently 35 year-old Dena Wilkinson pulled her car out from a private driveway directly into the path of a Chevy being driven by Ryan McDowell of Columbia Missouri.  McDowell was wearing his seatbelt at the time of the crash but still sustained serious personal injuries.  He was transported to University of Missouri Medical Center for emergency room treatment.  33 year-old McDowell is now recovering at the hospital for his personal injuries.
