Authorities report that 16 year-old Kayla Marler lost control of her Chevy Cobalt late Sunday afternoon in Troy Missouri.  The Chevy veered of the roadway, Marler over-corrected, then the car crashed head-on into a van being driven by Jennifer Mercurio of Troy.  There were three other children in the van, all sustaining serious personal injuries.  9 year-old Brendan, 5 year-old Devin, and 7 year-old Kelli Talluto were all taken to St. Joseph's West in Lake St. Louis for emergency treatment.  Jennifer Mercurio was also transported to St. Joseph's West by ambulance for treatment for her personal injuries.
