Authorities reported to serious car accident in Kahoka Missouri late last night.  Reportedly 80 year-old John Hesse of Kahoka pulled into the path of another vehicle being driven by 53 year-old Judith Thompson.  The impact struck the passenger side door of Ms. Thompson's 1999 Dodge, causing total damage to both cars involved in the car accident.  Judith Thompson sustained serious personal injuries as a result of the crash and was transported by Air Evac Lifeteam to Blessings Hospital in Quincy Illinois for emergency treatment.  Blessing Hospital was the closest level-one trauma unit to the scene of the crash and due to Ms. Thompson's injuries, a life flight was necessitated.
