Tractor-trailer Crashes Into Two Vehicles Near De Soto, Causing Serious Personal Injuries

Authorities report that a 2007 Peterbilt tractor-trailer being driven by Thomas Farnell of Jacksonville Florida rear-ended a stopped car on US 67 near De Soto Missouri.  The car that was struck from behind, being driven by Vada Skiles of De Soto, was then pushed into a third vehicle.  Vida Skiles, Charles Mullins, and his son all sustained serious personal injuries and were taken to local area hospitals for emergency treatment.  Apparently the truck driver was inattentive and failed to notice the stopped cars ahead of him before the crash took place.  The facts of this Missouri truck crash are substantially similar to the crash that occurred near Highway 40 and Mason Road in early 2008.

The Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration has set regulations in place that govern the commercial trucking industry.  These federal regulations have also been adopted in full by the State of Missouri.  Following too close and being inattentive are both forbidden by federal and state laws.  If you have been injured in truck accident in Missouri, contact an experienced tractor-trailer injury attorney and get your legal rights protected.  Only an injury lawyer who understands the federal and state law implications with respect to trucking accidents can properly represent your interests.  Visit the Schultz Legal Group injury victim website for additional information.
