Fatal Truck Accident Near Osage Leaves Unanswered Questions
A Missouri fatal truck accident late Friday afternoon left unanswered questions for first responders. Apparently 20 year-old Gordon Robinson lost control of his 2008 Mazda, causing the vehicle to swerve off of Highway 63, then re-enter the roadway into the path of an oncoming Frieghtliner tractor-trailer. Robinson's Mazda was crushed by the large truck and pushed off the road down an embankment. Robinson, of Independence Missouri, was pronounced dead at the scene by a local coroner. It remains unknown how his vehicle lost control, as roads were not particularly slick at the time of the incident.
