Chariton County Auto Crash Injuries Two Drivers

Our Missouri car crash attorneys are investigating an auto accident which occurred late Tuesday night on Highway 129 in Chariton County, Missouri.  19-year-old Jessica Schachteley of Higbee, Missouri was driving her vehicle on Highway 129 when 70-year-old Joyce Widmer of Salisbury, Missouri pulled out in front of Schachteley.  Widmer was at the intersection of 2nd Street and Highway 129 when she prematurely entered the highway, causing her to be struck by the front of Schachteley's vehicle on the driver's side.  Schachteley was taken to Moberly Regional Medical Center to be treated for injuries sustained.  Widmer was transported by emergency helicopter to University Hospital in Columbia for her injuries.

When you have been injured in Chariton County car accident, it is critical to immediately seek all the medical treatment you need.  A minor ache or pain can turn in to something much more serious if left untreated.  Therefore, it is in the injured's best interest to have any medical condition not present before a motor vehicle crash properly evaluated by a medical professional.  Should something once opined as 'minor' turn in to a more in depth injury, it is documented through medical records that you were immediately plagued with this condition post-crash and sought medical care right away.

When evaluating you injury claim, a time lapse in medical treatment is twisted by insurance companies to mean that you were not in significant pain.  Though most often times this is far from the truth, a time lapse can be very damaging to your claim.  If you find yourself in this situation, are unsure what sort of medical treatment to seek, or are baffled by how an insurance company is valuing your injury claim, contact a team of Missouri personal injury attorneys to help get your claim back on track.  We are here to assist you 24 hours a day and have your future in our best interest.
